(EFFECTIVE August 2, 2005)

HOURS:                                Preschool hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday thru Friday except for the following holidays: 

Labor Day (Sept. 5, 2005),

Fall Break (Oct. 3-Oct. 7, 2005)

Veterans Day (Nov 11, 2005)

Thanksgiving (Nov. 24-25, 2005)

Winter Break (Dec. 19 – Jan 4, 2006)

Martin Luther King Holiday (Jan 16, 2006)

Spring Break (Mar 13-Mar 17)

Good Friday (April 14, 2005)

Last Day (May 19, 2006)

BEFORE SCHOOL:           Part-time (9-12) child that need care before 9 a.m. may choose before-school care for $15/week per family. The fee is the same if the child attends one day or five days per week. The fee is not charged if the child does not attend any portion of before-school care.

BREAKFAST:                      Breakfast is served @ 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. daily to all children in the Center during this time.  Children arriving at 8:00 a.m. can either wait until snack to get something to eat or eat something from home with the parents’ supervision.

LUNCH:                                Lunch is not served before 12 noon.  A mid-morning snack will be provided on rotation by the parents.

EXTRA P.M.:                       As needed for emergencies, afternoon services will be $11/VPK day (for services in the afternoon on a regular basis, Full-Time care is the required service.)

ENROLLMENT FEE:          $75.00 PER CHILD – School Year (Aug 2 – May 19)

$15.00 PER CHILD - SUMMER TERM (June 6 – July 27)

ENROLLMENT:                  A refundable fee reserves a space until the term begins. This fee will be refunded to you once your child begins school.  If withdrawn, space is first come, first serve as space is available.

WITHDRAWAL:                Staffing is based upon enrollment.  We request a two-week notice in writing prior to withdrawal.

TUITION:                              There is no tuition fee for VPK.  The Florida government will pay for the child to attend three (3) hours a day, five (5) days a week for authorized VPK days.  Authorized VPK days include all school days not listed in the “Hours” above.  Before-school care and extra p.m. care will be the responsibility of the parent.
