Fall Rates

HOURS:                                The PLC is open Monday thru Friday from 6:30am to 6:00 p.m.

HOLIDAYS:                         All PLC holidays for the current year can be found in the PLC parent  handbook.  

BREAKFAST:                      Breakfast is served @ 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. daily to all children in the Center during this time.

LUNCH:                                Each full-time child is to provide a nutritional sack lunch, to include at least four different food          groups and nutritious drink (100% juice, water, or milk).

SCHOOL ENROLLMENT                                $75.00 PER CHILD – School Year  (Aug – May)

PAPER FEE – CONSUMABLES                      $15.00 PER CHILD – due January 15th  

SUMMER ENROLLMENT FEE                        $20.00 PER CHILD - SUMMER TERM (June – July.)                                                              

ENROLLMENT:    Non-refundable fee valid for one school term that reserves a space until the term begins. If withdrawn, space is first come, first serve as space is available.    

WITHDRAWAL NOTICE:  Staffing is based upon enrollment.  All withdrawals are charged two weeks tuition unless a written two-week notice is given to the office prior to withdrawing.

TUITION:  Payable on a weekly basis. Tuition is due each Monday in advance. Tuition is due Christmas week even though the Preschool is closed.  Vacation credit may be used if accrued, written notice is given, and a student’s account does not have a past due balance.    Vacation weeks may be used as sick weeks, if necessary. Please see section under vacations for more information about the use of vacation credits. Absences are not prorated.  The parent is responsible for checking parent mailboxes for updated statement.

VPK:  During the school year, the PLC has NON VPK DAYS (or VPK holidays) when VPK is closed.  All other programs are open.  During this time, full-time VPK tuition is still due.  Morning care is available for full-time VPK students.   An additional charge of $15 per day, not to exceed the 2 & 3 Full-time year old weekly tuition, will be due for each day the VPK full-time student attends on a non-VPK day.  A parent may use a vacation credit, if eligible, and the child does not attend for 5 consecutive days.  For eligibility requirements, please see below, or refer to the section marked Vacation Credit in the parent handbook.

VACATION: Children accrue 1 week vacation after 3 months of care.  Children accrue a 2^nd week after 6 months.  A vacation credit can only be used if the PLC is notified in writing and the student balance is at $0.  Vacation credits are for any 5 consecutive days missed, after the contracted 3 months of care.

SICK CREDIT: A sick credit is available to children whose illness has caused them to miss 5 consecutive days of care (or more), and have a doctor’s note for the time missed.  A sick credit is worth ½ week’s tuition.

LATE PICK-UP:  Any student who stays after the time in which his/her contract specifies (12pm for part-time students, 6pm for full-time students), will be considered a “late pick-up” and his/her account will be charged a minimum fee of $8.00 assessed for the first 15 minutes with an additional $4.00 each 15-minute interval past 6:15 p.m

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS: Tuition is due each Monday for that week.  A $10.00 late fee is charged on Tuesday at 1 p.m.  Any account overdue on Friday of that week will result in the child’s suspension from the center and the child will not be re-admitted until the account is paid in full.  After one week suspension, the child’s name will be added to the bottom of the waiting list, and withdrawn from active enrollment. 

Tuition will continue accruing during this suspension period.  Parents will be notified in writing that the child’s enrollment is suspended at the end of the first week that payment is not received.    

WEEKLY FAMILY DISCOUNTS:  Two children (discount $10.00/wk), three children (discount $25.00/wk).  Discounts are only applicable when all eligible children in the family are enrolled in programs other than VPK 9-12 only.
