Full-Time Rates

2005-2006

(EFFECTIVE August 2, 2005)

HOURS:                                The Preschool is open from 6:30 am until 6:00 pm, Monday thru Friday except for the following holidays:  Labor Day (Sept. 5, 2005), Thanksgiving (Nov. 24-25, 2005), Christmas (Dec. 19 – 23, 2005), New Years (Dec. 30, 2005), Good Friday (April 14, 2005), Memorial Day (May 30, 2005), and Independence Day (July 4, 2005).

VPK DISCOUNT:               VPK discount, of $6.00/VPK day, applies to K4 only and is available only on calendar school days (Escambia County School District school calendar) that the child is in attendance.  This discount will not be applied on VPK holidays (days the Escambia County schools are out) or if the child is absent on a VPK day. 

BREAKFAST:                      Breakfast is served @ 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. daily to all children in the Center during this time.  Children arriving at 8:00 a.m. can either wait until snack to get something to eat or eat something from home with the parents’ supervision.

LUNCH:                                Each child is to provide a nutritional sack lunch, to include at least four different food groups and nutritious drink (100% juice, water, or milk).

PRICES

SCHOOL ENROLLMENT                                          $75.00 PER CHILD – School Year  (Aug 2 – May 27)

PAPER FEE – CONSUMABLES                                                $15.00 PER CHILD – due January 15th         SUMMER ENROLLMENT FEE                    $15.00 PER CHILD - SUMMER TERM (May 31 – July 28)                                                              

ENROLLMENT:    Non-refundable fee valid for one school term that reserves a space until the term begins. If withdrawn, space is first come, first serve as space is available.    

WITHDRAWAL NOTICE:  Staffing is based upon enrollment.  All withdrawals are charged two weeks tuition unless a written two-week notice is given to the office prior to withdrawing.

TUITION:  Payable on a weekly basis. Tuition is due each Friday in advance. Tuition is due Christmas week even though the Preschool is closed.  Vacation credit may be used if accrued.  Vacation weeks may be used as sick weeks, if necessary.  Absences are not prorated.

VACATION: Children accrue 1 week vacation after 3 months of full time care.  Children accrue a 2^nd week after 6 months.

LATE PICK-UP:  The Center closes at 6:00 p.m.  Any child picked up after 6:00 p.m. will have a minimum fee of $8.00 assessed for the first 15 minutes with an additional $4.00 each 15-minute interval past 6:15 p.m. 

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS: Tuition is due each Friday in advance.  A $10.00 late fee is charged on Monday at 1 p.m.  Any account overdue one week will result in the child’s suspension from the center and the child will not be accepted in the center until the account is paid in full.  After one week suspension, the child’s name will be added to the bottom of the waiting list, and withdrawn from active enrollment.  The parent must make contact with the office to have the child’s name removed from the suspended enrollment list and reinstated in active enrollment status.  Parents will be notified in writing and by phone message that the child’s enrollment is in a suspended status at the end of the first week that payment is not received.  It is the parent’s responsibility to check the parent mailbox for mail concerning your child’s account.

WEEKLY FAMILY DISCOUNTS:  Two children (discount $10.00/wk), three children (discount $25.00/wk).
