Reverend Ron Pouliot: Associate Pastor & Minister to Children & Families

Ron is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, serving with the Naval Security Group for over twenty years. While in the Navy, he served in churches around the world in various staff positions. Prior to coming to Myrtle Grove Baptist Church as the Minister of Recreation, he served as Minister of Youth & Activities for seven years at a church in Alabama.

Ron and his wife, Rhonda, have been married for forty years and have two sons, Brian and Jonathan. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Management) from the University of West Florida.

At Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, we believe we should follow the example set by Jesus and minister not only to the spiritual needs of the individual, but to the physical, mental, and social needs as well. Our Family Life Center serves as an excellent ministry "tool" enabling us to reach out to many of our friends and neighbors in the Myrtle Grove community.

Joseph Lee, the "Father of the American Playground", made the statement, "We do not cease playing because we are old; we grow old because we cease playing." It is our goal to help our church family remain "young" by scheduling programs for all ages. Some of our regularly scheduled activities include:
