Myrtle Grove Baptist Church welcomes deaf and hard of hearing people

Each year Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services of Northwest Florida, Inc. sponsors a weekend retreat titled “Deaf Awareness Weekend.” For more detailed information about times, places and events please contact Jimmy Peterson at the DHHS office at 433-7128 V/TTY; or fax 850-438-0299.

Since 1975, interpreted services have been provided for those who are deaf or hard of hearing to ‘see’ the word of God presented in sign language. Sunday morning Bible Study Classes are provided for deaf adults and children starting at 9:00 with coffee and donuts. You will experience a spiritually uplifting as you participate with other deaf and hearing alike.
	The Deaf Ministry Department continually gathers for fellowship and outings together, which enrich their bond of Christian love for each other and for their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

For those who are hard of hearing, the church provides amplified pocket size receivers for hearing the music and dynamic preaching of Rev. Ron Lentine. Simply ask a deacon in the foyer of the sanctuary for one of these devices as you enter the church.
