From the Windows Media Player you had clicked on "Tools"
and then "Options" the following window will open:
Notice that the "Player" tab is the one that is "up" |
| All of the options that are listed on this Tab are
personal choices. |
|

|
| |
| Now click on the "Performance"
tab - Mark your "Connection Speed" as this is below. |
| Network buffering: This system uses the "detect
connection speed" - however, if you experience "buffering" you may want to
specify the length of time to "buffer" (up to 60 seconds) before the file
starts to play. |
|

|
| |
| Still under "Options", now
click on the "File Types" Tab ...
Place a check mark on all the types of files that you want Windows Media
Player to be the Default player.
Typically our audio files are either WMA or ASF. If you put your
mouse over each file type and click there will a description of the
extensions for the names of the files. Remember - placing a check
mark by the name will make Windows Media Player the default player for
that type of file. (You can always change it later). |
