Each Easter week MGBC
holds a community outreach Easter Egg Hunt for children 10 and under.
This year the hunt was held
on April 10th, 2004 - over 1600 plastic eggs were hidden. The church
grounds are split into areas so that each age group has a good opportunity
to find the "golden" eggs.
After the hunt everyone
came back inside the Family Life Center for refreshments, fellowship & to
hear a story about the true meaning of Easter that is geared toward
children.
Door prizes, the "Golden
Egg" awards and a special prize for guessing the closest to the number of
jelly beans are conducted.
Many thanks to Rev Ron
Pouliot & the countless volunteers who donated time, candy, & plastic eggs
to make 2004 the largest crowd yet.! |
