Margaret Horne Windley went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2009.

 Mrs. Windley was born on November 8, 1924 in Winnsboro, SC.

After graduating from High School in 1942, she attended the University of South Carolina where she met her future husband, Aviation Cadet A.R. "Jack" Windley, USNR.

 They married October 20, 1944.

She was a strong devoted Wife, a true Lady in all respects, a Homemaker, Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother.

 After retiring from the Navy in 1963, the Windley's moved to Pensacola Beach, then to Gulf Breeze.

 She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze for 37 years, serving as an associate children's teacher for many years.

Moving to Pensacola in 2003, she joined the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.

She was an active member of the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church and a founding member of the Miracle Strip Ramblers HRRVC.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, A.R. "Jack" Windley; Three children, Dr. Michael (Renee) Windley of Cantonment, FL, Susan W. Shields of Pensacola, FL, and Cdr. John Stephen (Debbie) Windley of Pensacola, FL/Mobile, AL.

She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 4:30 p.m., with The Reverend Ron Lentine officiating.

A Memorial Visitation will be held before the service from 4:00-4:30 p.m.
