Carrie Lorene Bobe Taylor, 89, of Valley Center, CA died Thursday,
December 28, 2006.
Mrs. Taylor was born and raised in Pensacola, her home for 79 years. She
resided in Valley Center for the past 4 years. She was retired, and
worked as a clerk and craft instructor for Bobe's Hobby House for more
than 35 years. She was a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Taylor of Valley Center; a daughter,
Patricia Gosen of Mint Hill, NC; two brothers, Ted Bobe and Charles Bobe,
both of Pensacola; two sisters, Kathy Hines of Pensacola, and Dorothy
Miller of Clermont; five grandchildren, Heather Taylor-Williams, John
Gosen, Stephanie Clapper, Leigh McVicker, and Kris Rushing; 13
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007 in
Faith Chapel Funeral Home, 100 Beverly Pkwy, with Dr. Alton Butler,
honorary pastor of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will
be in Bayview Memorial Park with FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME SOUTH
directing.
Pallbearers will be Tom Taylor, Ollie Strickland, John Bobe, Mike Bobe,
Donald Bobe, and John Williams.
