| "Nothing can ever replace the Wisdom, Guidance and Love
of a Father" Allen L. Taylor, born March 12, 1919, passed away July 1,
2002. He was a loving father, husband and faithful friend.
Mr. Taylor was a lifelong resident of Pensacola. He was a Federal Civil
Employee, where he worked for many years as an instrument mechanic. He was
a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Taylor; mother,
Myrtle Bailey Taylor and his most beloved sister, Margaret Taylor Brand.
He is survived by his wife, Norma D. Taylor; only daughter, Dolores T.
Jackson (Col. 'Hal' Jackson, USMC (Ret.); stepdaughters, Susie Norred
(Haywood), Patsy Barbari; niece, Kim Otto; very special Aunt Lillian
Wilson. He also leaves seven wonderful, loving and talented grandchildren
as well as several great grandchildren; and special Loving neighbor, Ann
Bingle.
'Taylor' leaves behind a host of friends who shared his great love of
the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at Faith
Chapel Funeral Home South on Beverly Parkway. Graveside services will
follow at Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Olin Tisdale, N.C. McNeil, Ronnie Busbee,
Grover Bailey, Howard Diamond, W.T. Gilley, Willie Gibbs, Dickie Gibbs,
Claude Gibbs, Cecil Wiseman, Haywood Norred and Donnie Stewart.
Active pallbearers are Terry Busbee, Mike Barbari, Ronnie Stewart,
Justin Otto, Ronnie Gibbs and Jim Streit.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of
arrangements.
Visitors will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 2, 2002
at Faith Chapel South.
The family wishes to thank Covenant Hospice, with special thanks to
Mollie and Judy. Also, the nursing staff at "E" Wing of Health Care Center
of Pensacola, especially Susan.
