| Mary Ruth Smith, 80, of Pensacola, passed away
Thursday, May 15, 2003 at a local nursing facility. Mrs. Smith was a
native of Chattanooga, TN and had resided in Pensacola since 1958.
She was a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church and a member of the
Keenagers group. She was retired from Baptist Hospital with 15 years of
service and had volunteered with the hospital and the Red Cross.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Estes H. Smith; son &
daughter-in-law, Thomas E. and Janet Smith; grandson, Vincent T. Smith;
four brothers, Joel, Tommy, Ronald and Don Eaves; sister, Beverly Keen;
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2003 at Faith
Chapel Funeral Home with the reverends Wayne Quarrier and Ron Lentine
officiating. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Pkwy, is in charge of
arrangements.
The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. on
Friday, May 16.
