| Harriet Diamond Scruggs, 82, of Pensacola died Monday,
March 10, 2003. Mrs. Scruggs was born in Munson, Florida and has
been a life long resident of the Santa Rosa/Escambia County area. She was
a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Scruggs' husband, Jacie B. Scruggs, preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Peter Scruggs (Mary), James Scruggs,
and Harry Scruggs (Renate); four granddaughters; one grandson; and two
great granddaughters.
Graveside services will be at 11:45 AM Thursday, March 13, 2003 at
Barrancas National Cemetery. A procession will leave Oak Lawn Funeral Home
at 11:20 AM.
OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 pm to 7 pm at
the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Reverend Ron Pouliot, Associate
Pastor of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church and express deepest gratitude to the
staff members of Specialty Center of Pensacola who provided such excellent
care for mother.
