Ray John Roselli, 91 of Pensacola,
passed away Monday, August 25, 2008.
Mr. Roselli was born on May 15, 1917
in Utica, New York to Carlo and Anna
Roselli.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66
years, Ouida Cain Roselli and three
children: daughter Dolores (Bill)
Gonzalez of Lillian, Alabama, son
Richard (Brenda) Roselli of Pensacola,
son Daniel (Debbie) Roselli of West Palm
Beach, Florida; two brothers, James
(Shelia) Roselli of Utica, New York and
John (Marge) Roselli of West Palm Beach,
Florida: Seven grandchildren, Brett
Gonzalez, DeAnna Carnes, Brice Roselli,
Sheree Garman, Brandon Roselli, Neal
Roselli, Karen Cottin: and eight great
grandchildren, Zachary and Noah Carnes;
Dylan, Daniel, drew and Drake Cottin;
and Landan and Logan Roselli.
Mr. Roselli served in the U.S. Army in
Pensacola and Philippines Islands and
retired from civil service with the Navy
Public Center as Transportation
Superintendent.
He was ordained as church deacon in
1960 while a member of First Missionary
Baptist Church Pensacola and died a
member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Mr. Roselli will be
held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30,
2008 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in
Pensacola with Reverend Ronald Lentine
officiating.
Private family interment will follow
at Union Hill Cemetery.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
The family will receive friends at Oak
Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until
11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2008.
Deacons of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church
will serve as pallbearers.
The men of the Builder's Sunday School
of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church will
serve as honorary pallbearers.
The Roselli family will be accepting
flowers or donations may be made to The
