Mrs. Betty Jo Rogers, 69, of
Pensacola passed away on Monday, October 22, 2007.
She was a native of Pensacola, born on May 21, 1938 and was a graduate
of Pensacola High School, Class of 1957.
She was a
majorette in the band and loved trips to Biloxi. Mrs. Rogers was the
retired owner of Diamond Stars Card Shop, Pensacola.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Rogers Jr.; a son, James
Edward Rogers of Greensboro, N.C. daughter-in-law, Shannon Patterson and
grandchildren, Daulton Rogers, Jarrod Rogers and Anna Kate Patterson;
her brothers and sisters, Jim and Bobby Malbeck, Bob and Helen Malbeck,
Barbara and Jim Furlow and Jean Leonardi.
Also survived by aunts and uncles, Donald and Alleen Waters, Junior and
Nancy Waters, Bud and Faye Waters, Virginia Waters, Joyce Pierce and
Lucy Bell; along with a special friend, Alice; and her neighbors, Grace
and Bernie Rummel and Roy Burch.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 6 to
8 P.M. at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with services to be held on
Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel.
Interment follows in Myrtle Grove Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Sonny Manning, Richard Manning, Hal Driver,
Manning Hitt, Ronnie Risher and Dirk Navarro.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Jim Waters.
HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL in charge of arrangements.
