| Herman Marcus Richmond, age 95, of Pensacola, died
January 17, 2003 at Homestead Village.
Mr. Richmond was a life-long resident of the Pensacola area, born on
June 29, 1907 in Millview to William Herman Richmond and Bessie Johnson
Richmond. He was retired from civil service at Pensacola NAS and was a
member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Edith Madsen Richmond
and two sisters, Myrtle Suarez and Winnie Jones.
He is survived by three sons, Marcus (Pat), Kenneth (Becky) and Gordon
(Jean) Richmond, all of Pensacola; seven grandchildren; & eleven
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 20, 2003 at
Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Lentine officiating.
Interment will follow at Union Hall Cemetery.
Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be Donald Richmond, Andy Richmond, Ernest
Augustine, Curtis Williams, Eric Anderson, and Neil Thorsen.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 19,
from 3 pm to 5 pm.
