Margaret Lucille moved with her parents to Pensacola in 1940.  She was saved and baptized as a teenager at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church where she served as church clerk during the 1950's. 

Margaret Lucille Cumbie and Charles Nunley were married by Rev. Francis Broyles in 1952 here at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.  They had one son, Mark.  Both Charles and Mark preceded her in death.

Margaret was retired from Naval Air Station Pensacola where she worked as  Deputy Dispersing Officer at the Financial Information Processing Center. 

Margaret Lucille returned to Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in 1999 and was a faithful member until her sudden death on December 24, 2008. 

She served as a volunteer in the church office and had come in to volunteer on Tuesday, December 23. 

 She collapsed in the church office and died of a massive stroke the following morning at the hospital. 

Her survivors include:  4 grandchildren; 1 brother, Marvin Cumbie; and 1 sister, Betty Scurlock.
