Charles E. "Gene" Milsted, age 83 of Pensacola, died Monday, March 21, 2005.

Mr. Milsted was a native of Coxheath, Alabama and resided in Pensacola for the past 54 years. He
was owner/operator of Milsted Barber Shop in Myrtle Grove and a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist
Church.

Mr. Milsted's wife of 48 years, Polly McPherson Milsted, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his two sons, Charles E. Milsted, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL and Jim Milsted (and
wife, Davie) of Pensacola; one sister, Bernadine Lee of Pensacola; three granddaughters, Collyn
Hodges and Jamie and Lauren Milsted; and one great granddaughter, Adriana Milsted.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church with
Reverend Ron Lentine and Doctor Alton Butler officiating.

Burial will in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
