Freda M. "Fritz" Crisp, 75, of
Pensacola, Florida, loving wife, mother,
friend, and confidante to many, died
peacefully in her sleep Saturday,
September 13, 2008, after a long
illness.
She was born in Sardis, Arkansas and
grew up in and around Pine Bluff,
Arkansas.
She
was a graduate of Whitehall High School
but lived most of her adult life in
Pensacola.
She
worked in Pensacola as a legal secretary
for Holsberry and Emmanuel law firm, but
after she had children, she joyfully
spent her life as a loving and devoted
mother and wife.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, Coy Murray and Etta Covington;
her brothers, Coy & Hugh "Butch" Murray;
and her sisters, Doris Bates and Bobbie
Doss, all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and
sister-in-law, Marie Martin of Gastonia,
NC.
She is survived by her husband of 43
years, Vernon Crisp of Pensacola; her
daughter, Etta L. Crisp of Pensacola;
her son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and
Laura Crisp of Phoenix, AZ; her sisters,
Mildred Hartzel of Pensacola, and Veda
Ard of Pine Bluff, Arkansas;
brother-in-law, Edwin Crisp, of Stanley,
NC; sister-in-law, Reva Braswell of
Stanley, NC; and her granddaughter, Maya
Crisp of Phoenix. She is also survived
by many loving nephews, nieces, and
friends.
Graveside service will be 10:15 a.m.
Friday, September 19, 2008 at Barrancas
National Cemetery.
