He was retired from Public Works, Naval Air Station, Pensacola.

Mr. Carr is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Judy Carr; daughter, Kalesha Carr; son, Darin Carr and his wife, Kimberly; grandchildren, Cameron and Haley Barnett; Aaron, Ariane and Darin Carr, Jr.; sisters, Mirl Prichett; Billie J. Lunsford, both of Union Springs, AL. and Mary Mitchell and her husband, Johnny of Troy, AL.; brother-in-law, Bobby Mobley and his wife, Virginia of Foley, AL.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Dr. Alton Butler and Rev. Ron Lentine officiating. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Mobley, Sean Mobley, Shea Mobley, David Mobley, Aaron Carr and Cortland Peed. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at the funeral home.
