| James Barron Cagle, age 74, of Pensacola went home to
be with the Lord Monday, July 15, 2002.
He was a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Cagle, a retired Navy LCDR, served his country faithfully for 23
years as a pilot and meteorologist. For 25 years he was a successful
realtor with Baars Realty and Escambia Construction Company. He was
selected Realtor of the Year in 1987.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur L. Cagle Sr. and
Susie Barron Cagle and his brother, Dr. Arthur L. Cagle, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Rene Cagle; daughter, Susan
Cagle, of Fort Collins, CO; son, Jeff Cagle (Janet), of Pensacola;
daughter, Jan Bell (Homer), of Pensacola; son, Matt Cagle (Jennifer), of
Tampa; six beautiful grandchildren, Taryn Roach, Melanie Cagle, Will
Cagle, Madeleine Bell, Gretchen Cagle and Mitch Cagle; a sister, Mildred
Neal, of St. Simons, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitors will be received Wednesday, July 17, 2002 from 5:00 to 7:00
PM.
Funeral services will be held at Oak Lawn Thursday, July 18, 2002 at
9:30 AM with Rev. Ron Lentine and Dr. Alton Butler presiding.
Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery aboard N.A.S.
Pensacola.
The family would like to thank Dr. Inclan and his great staff at
Baptist Hospital and the wonderful people at Hospice.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice, Myrtle
Grove Baptist Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
