Carolyn Kimmons Butler, 72, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2007.

Mrs. Butler was born April 9, 1935, in Bratt, FL to William Henry Kimmons and Arabelle Hanks Kimmons.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Arabelle Kimmons and her son-in-law, Tommy Madigan.

Carolyn is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, George Butler, Jr.; loving daughters, Rhonda Taylor, Theresa Madigan, and Ramona (Owen) Broaddus; grandchildren, Alex Taylor, Sean Taylor, Patrick Madigan and Kameron Broaddus Cyr; special cousins, Evelyn Taylor, Arleda Dean and Nell Marie Steeley; special sister-in-law, Charlotte Kimmons; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Thomas Sunnenberg and his staff for the care they gave to Carolyn.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with interment to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn's honor to the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
