Mrs. Thelma Inez Andrews, age 90, of
Pensacola, passed away Friday, December 8, 2006.
She was born August 20, 1916 in
Pensacola, Florida and was a lifelong resident here.
She was a homemaker and a substitute
teacher with Pleasant Grove Elementary School.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove
Baptist Church for 50 years and a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church
for 30 years.
She was very active in her
churches, serving as Sunday school teacher, she loved the teenagers at
Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, she also loved sewing and gardening.
Her husband, Robert Andrews, daughter, Lillian Cothran, and brother,
Harold Etheridge preceded her in death.
Survivors include 3 Daughters; Christine (Gary) Bramlette, Judy (Lee)
Bransford, Beth James, Sister; Clara Dickerson, 8 Grandchildren,
numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 10:00
a.m in the PleasantGrove Baptist Church with Reverend Ron Pouliot
officiating.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home
Monday, December 11, 2006 from 3 to 5 p.m.
