| Mr. Marion H. Andrews (Andy) entered into the celebration
of his eternal life with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday,
February 25, 2003. Mr. Andrews, a Navy and Air Force veteran of over 20
years, was born in Pensacola on February 8, 1922.
A devoted husband,
father, brother and friend, Marion was preceded by his loving wife of 58
years Berta Beatrice Andrews.
He is survived by his two daughters Dianne
McLeod (Doyle) of Ft. Walton Beach and Patricia LaFoy (Bryant) of Orlando;
four grandchildren, Dawn Wolfe (Joey), Darrin McLeod (Aimee), Andrea Drake
(Don) and Shannon LaFoy; four great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Jordan,
Emily, and Olivia Drake; four brothers Jewel, Doyle, Kenneth, and Gerald,
two sisters, Ellen Halfhill and Ila LaCoste; special friend, Marge
Restucher; and numerous relatives and friends.
As a Navy and Air Force veteran, he visited many interesting places and
settled back in Pensacola in 1983.
He was a member of the Myrtle Grove
Baptist Church.
A celebration of his life will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home,
Friday, February 28, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with graveside services following
at Barrancas National Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oak Lawn
Funeral Home.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
