Being a music reader is NOT a necessity. If you sing by ear, please come and audition also.

Auditions will be on Sunday August 30, immediately after the morning worship service in the choir room on the second floor of the worship center.

 Guests will assist in the audition sessions so as to avoid any biases in the decision.
Please have one song prepared to sing or play. Most likely, not all of that song will be performed.

You will also be asked to sing with the audition director to determine blend and ear responses. Instrumentalists will be asked to read a piece of music.

 In addition to your musical gifts, we are looking for worshiping hearts.

* Becoming very familiar with new songs (listening to any CD’s you are given) before Thursday’s rehearsal
* Dressing modestly while on the stage

Dress guidelines
• Neckline of blouses and shirts must be at least 2 inches above cleavage.
• No form fitting clothes (loose slacks, skirts and especially shirts) MODESTY is the look we want
• Skirts must be at least to the bottom of the knee...not right at the knee
• No spaghetti straps, backless or strapless tops (tank tops should have at least two inch straps)
• You can wear denim skirts and gauchos but no jeans
* Not missing more than 2 Sundays a quarter (only the dates you are scheduled to sing count)
* Preparing a 3 to 5 minute devotion (once or twice a year) for the team before rehearsal begins
* Working effectively with the team, keeping a positive attitude, encouraging one another and having fun

The most important thing you commit to while on this team, and hopefully for the rest of your life,

is to live in a manner that glorifies and reflects the Lord. Your conversations and lifestyle should exemplify love and purity.
