Building for the Future Banquet 

Sunday, March 25th - 6:00 p.m.

Family Life Center

You should have received your invitation to the Building for the Future Celebration Banquet.  Lorna Browning and her committee members are already working hard on the banquet preparations.  The banquet will be a highlight of our Building for the Future Campaign.  Every member of our church and Sunday morning Bible Study classes, plus their families will be invited.  You do not need a ticket, but you do need a reservation.

Our children will be attending a great party planned just for them.

There will be no offerings taken and the meal is completely free of charge!  It is hoped this will be the greatest congregational gathering in the history of Myrtle Grove, a great time of fellowship for the whole church family as we begin to work together to renovate and expand our church for the Lord Jesus Christ.

God is going to use this time to further challenge each of us in our commitment to Myrtle Grove's renovation/expansion campaign.

Area of Special Interest

With all of the talk about renovation, some of us might be unsure what is going to change.  Each newsletter we want to focus in on one area that will be changed.  In this issue we are going to look at the Music suite.

We will have a beautiful new music suite.  It will be located upstairs above the current main office area.  It will include an expanded rehearsal area to accommodate the growing adult choir.  It will also serve as rehearsal space for other choir and ensembles.  There will be space for a music office and plenty of storage space for sheet music, instruments and choir robes.  

We as a congregation have come to especially enjoy the beautiful addition the music ministry brings to our worship at Myrtle Grove..  

We can feel the power of God's Word as it is manifested in the music made by the various groups and individuals who use the talent God has given them to witness to His glory and spread the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

The new space will be dedicated to the continued vision of music for worship, music for edification, music for encouragement and music for inspiration.

Building for the Future is designed to help our church reach its financial goals and draw this fellowship of believers into a closer walk with Jesus Christ.  This chart can help you see hour your faithful pledge can add up over the course of the campaign.
