Preschool Learning Center (PLC),
The PLC provides a Christian learning environment for educating and
nurturing children aged two through five. The vision that started the
school was two-fold: to meet the needs of parents who work, and of
parents who want their child interacting in a Christian environment with
other children. The center serves the community and integrates prospects
that do not have a church affiliation into the outreach programs of Myrtle
Grove Baptist Church. Teachers are chosen who have a desire to teach, are
experienced and educated in preschool and most importantly have a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ.
Volunteers assist
this ministry in many different ways. These volunteers allow the staff to
give full attention to teaching and nurturing children. In addition to
your prayers, if you have an interest in one of the following areas, we
have a place for you to work: office paperwork, shopping for supplies,
donating school supplies, donating snacks, taking pictures of special
events, serving on the PLC committee, assisting with classroom parties,
assisting the children with activities prepared by teacher, assisting with
special programs, assisting with teacher resources, assisting with fund
raisers, providing maintenance and repairs to equipment, providing
landscaping and maintenance to playground.
