MISSIONS

“Making Christ known in Northwest Florida and “Beyond” is a vital part of the Mission Statement of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.”

Our Missions & Ministry Statement reads:

In keeping with our Lord’s Command (Matthew 28), our mission is to go and make disciples of all nations & build a loving, encouraging fellowship of mature believers for the Glory of God.

To accomplish that Command - the Missions and Ministry Statement further explains:   “The church family of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church believes that God is alive and victory is possible through Jesus Christ.  We also believe in missions and evangelism.  At Myrtle Grove, our number one priority is reaching people for Christ”.

CHURCH - Our Church emphasis on missions begins by contributing to the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program.  This program designates the funds to both International and Home missionaries and mission projects.  Over 9000 missionaries are supported by these resources.  Every member is encouraged to participate in the privilege of supporting missions by our giving.

INDIVIDUAL - Additionally, the Church has organized seven (7) vital Mission opportunities wherein an “individual or couple” may serve the Lord with their time, talent, and resources.  Anyone interested in serving or inquiring about service with any of these Mission Teams are urged to call or write the Team contact representative or speak with any of the Church Pastors or Staff.
