Baptist Men on
Mission:
The Baptist Men
on Mission unit is a church based Southern Baptist adult mission education
organization for men ages eighteen and up. The unit meets regularly but
is not defined by the meetings or the structure. It is defined by its
members’ commitment to the mission lifestyle:
-
Seeking ones place in God’s mission of
reconciliation.
-
Adjust your life by gaining skills and
understandings that make you more effective in the mission.
-
Using your mission skills in personal
mission fields where you live and work.
-
Partnering with other Christians to
fulfill the Great Commission around the world.
At Myrtle Grove
Baptist Church we have many opportunities to get involved with Men on
Mission such as: Mission Trips, Promise Keepers events, Small groups,
Food Pantry, Men’s Sunday School.

Promise Keepers:
Promise Keepers is dedicated to
igniting and uniting men to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ
through the effective communication of the 7 Promises.
A sovereign move of God's Spirit is
stirring the hearts of men. In a world of negotiable values, confused
identities, and distorted priorities, men are encountering God's Word,
embracing their identities as His sons, and investing in meaningful
relationships with God, their families and each other.
Clearly, Christian men have an unprecedented opportunity to seize this
moment and make a difference for Jesus Christ. We believe that God wants
to use Promise Keepers as a spark in His hand to ignite a nationwide
movement calling men from all denominational, ethnic, and cultural
backgrounds to reconciliation, discipleship, and godliness.
